Ordering a cake
You may place your order over the phone. For a more intricate cake design, you may want to make an appointment for a consultation.

Simple cakes and cupcakes should be ordered 1 week in advance.
Custom design cakes and wedding cakes should be ordered 2 weeks prior to the event.

It is important to us that your cake be exactly what you want. Therefore, we limit the number of orders we accept so that we can give each cake the attention it deserves.We dont rush our clients to make a decision, but keep in mind a 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date on our calendar. 
 


Delivery
We are happy to deliver for free your wedding cakes from Elviria to Estepona. Other cakes may be picked up from our workshop in Nueva Andalucia, when possible, we will give you a price for delivering your celebration cakes. We regret that we cannot ship our creations, except for our Christmas puddings, since they are too fragile. 
Please contact us for delivery charges if you live outside our free delivery zone.


Storage
Our cakes are covered with fondant and should be stored in a cool, dark place on a flat sturdy surface. Never put decorated cakes in the refrigerator since the fondant will start to "sweat".

Simple cupcakes can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 2 days. Since the frosting has butter, please make sure to take them out of the fridge at least 1 hour before having the first bite.

Special diets/allergies

A cake icing that can be flavored with almost anything. Ours is an Swiss meringue Buttercream, made with boiled sugar syrup, meringued egg whites and butter. (Not everyone does - not all buttercream are created equally! We do not cut corners by using shortening.)

Fondant
Many people ask us about fondant. Fondant was originally used to cover fruitcakes that were shipped from England to the New World and has been used in Europe and Australia for centuries. Fondant recently gained popularity because of its incomparably smooth finish. Fondant is an edible sugar paste made of powdered sugar, gelatin, glucose, glycerin, and water, and is used only as an icing (not a filling). Some people like it, and some don't. Because fondant firms up, it is easy to handle, and we find that guests who don't like fondant will simply peel it off. We prefer to cover cakes in fondant both for aesthetic reasons and because it helps keep the cake fresh. However, we will cover a cake with buttercream or ganache if you request it.


Ganache 
A rich chocolate filling traditionally made with heavy cream, butter, and chocolate.  Think fudge, but not quite as hard. Ganache can be used as a filling, or for true chocoholics can be used to coat the outside of the
